The Earthouse is a one-piece, 3D printed exhibit for demonstrating the color difference between cool white and warm white OLED lighting panels. Two square openings in the roof allow the 6-inch OLED panels to shine down on each side of the globe within. While it’s primary purpose is to show the range of color temperatures OLED’s can achieve, the Earthouse concept was inspired by consumer demographic data which stated that western countries prefer warm white lighting, while eastern countries prefer cool.
